Getting current firm profiles…
Review the current Los Angeles firm profiles below. Confirm each firm’s practice scope and the individual lawyer’s credentials before relying on a profile.
Population: 3,869,089 (2025 U.S. Census figure). This is geographic context, not a firm ranking.
“Los Angeles” may describe a transit transfer downtown, a rideshare pickup at LAX, a neighborhood street, a school activity, or a visit to Griffith Park. Those are not interchangeable legal settings. The first useful step is to narrow the place and time, identify who may hold a report or video, and keep your account of what happened separate from assumptions about fault. The firm profiles on this page are contacts to compare, not findings about experience or responsibility.
Imagine a hypothetical injury while changing between bus and rail at Union Station. LA Metro identifies it as a major hub, but a bus, train, platform, station walkway, and adjacent street may be operated or maintained differently. Save the route, platform, time, payment or trip record, photos, witness names, and any report number. Ask a prospective lawyer how it would identify the entity controlling the exact location and preserve footage or operator records.
For an airport trip, Los Angeles World Airports identifies LAX and its ride-app pickup arrangements. A trip receipt can show the driver and route, while a photo or report can fix whether an incident happened at a terminal curb, pickup lot, nearby road, or another property. Do not assume that every incident connected with an airport is a claim against the airport operator; the vehicle, driver, contractor, or another party may be relevant.
Consider a separate hypothetical in Griffith Park. The city identifies it as a Los Angeles park with trails and visitor facilities. Note the precise trail or facility, surface, weather, signs, photographs, witnesses, and who received a report. A public park location may raise a claim-presentation question, but it does not establish that the city caused an injury. Ask a lawyer what additional facts and records are needed.
Our mission is to make public information about personal injury law firms easier to find, understand, and verify. We organize factual directory records, practical legal education, and links to official sources so people can begin their research with greater clarity.
Our philosophy is accuracy before promotion, clarity before complexity, and corrections whenever reliable evidence shows that a listing has changed. Directory inclusion is informational and is never presented as a legal recommendation.
Before browsing, write a short timeline and list the records already available. A useful first call can begin with incomplete but accurate facts; it need not begin with a polished legal theory.

Record the exact street or freeway entrance, direction of travel, traffic controls, vehicle and insurance details, photographs, witnesses, police report number, and treatment timeline. For a delivery truck, ask who employed the driver, owned the vehicle, and controlled dispatch and maintenance records. For an Uber, Lyft, taxi, or airport ride, keep the app receipt and pickup location. Ask a firm whether it has experience obtaining commercial or app-based trip records before they become harder to find.
After a dog bite at a residence, sidewalk, or park, keep the location, owner and handler information if known, witnesses, photographs, clothing, medical records, and any animal-control report. California Civil Code § 3342 addresses bites by an owner’s dog in public or while a person is lawfully on private property, with qualifications in the statute. The rule does not automatically answer who owned the dog, whether the person was lawfully present, or how a different animal incident should be assessed.
Los Angeles Unified operates public-school campuses, but an injury may also involve a private school, outside sports program, transportation provider, or contractor. Preserve the school report, activity schedule, staff communications, medical records, and the identity of the group running the event. At a library, park, sidewalk, or transit facility, identify the exact spot and who maintained it. Public-entity cases can require a government claim before suit, but not every incident in a public place is a claim against government.
A fall or other injury in a private business calls for the exact condition, photographs, any warning, receipt or appointment record, report recipient, and witness details. Being hurt on premises alone does not prove that the operator knew about a condition or was responsible. Work and construction incidents may involve employer benefits, contractors, equipment, and separate safety records. Ask a lawyer how it would investigate control and possible overlapping claims without promising a result.
California Code of Civil Procedure § 335.1 generally gives two years for the listed injury and death actions, but the correct filing period depends on the claim and accrual date. If a California public entity may be involved, Government Code § 911.2 generally requires a personal-injury claim to be presented within six months after accrual. A claim presentation is not the same as a lawsuit. Other statutes, exceptions, or late-claim procedures may matter. Ask a California lawyer to identify all potentially responsible entities and calculate the dates for your facts.
California’s comparative-fault approach can reduce damages assigned in an ordinary negligence case according to a claimant’s share of fault. The percentage is not determined by a directory, an initial police report, or an insurer’s early position. Preserve the underlying evidence and ask how a firm would investigate conflicting accounts.

Ask each firm whether it currently accepts the incident type, which individual lawyer would be responsible, and who would handle daily work. For a school, transit, airport, or public-place matter, ask how the firm identifies the correct agency or operator and preserves records. Ask for relevant experience and an explanation of likely investigation steps, not a promise based on another client’s case.
Confirm the named lawyer through the State Bar of California attorney search. Ask how updates are sent, whether a referral to another firm is possible, and what the written fee agreement says about case expenses and a case without recovery.
Record the exact platform, vehicle, walkway, or adjacent street, plus the time and report number. The station name alone does not identify the relevant operator or records.
No. Preserve the pickup area, app trip, vehicle and driver details, and where the incident actually occurred. A lawyer should identify the relevant parties rather than infer them from the airport name.
Yes. Keep the exact trail or facility location, photographs, signs, witnesses, and report information. A city park can introduce government-claim questions, but injury there alone does not establish liability.
Keep the campus report, school communications, activity schedule, witness contacts, and care records. Determine whether a public district, private school, or outside program controlled the activity.
Civil Code § 3342 addresses an owner’s dog bite in public or during lawful private presence, subject to its terms. Preserve owner and location facts so a lawyer can apply the rule accurately.
No. California’s general listed injury provision is only a starting point. A public-entity claim may require much earlier presentation, and other circumstances can change the calendar.
Possibly. Confirm California licensure, service area, relevant experience, local investigation plans, and how meetings and court appearances would work.
Ask who handles the case, how evidence is preserved, when you receive updates, whether referral is possible, and how fees and expenses are charged under the written agreement.
