Getting current firm profiles…
Review the current Miami firm profiles below. Confirm each firm’s practice scope and the individual lawyer’s credentials before relying on a profile.
Population: 489,812 (2025 U.S. Census figure). This is geographic context, not a firm ranking.
A Miami injury question may involve a downtown Metromover trip, a Brickell street, a visit to Bayfront Park, a school activity, or a ride connected with Miami International Airport. The same city name cannot tell a lawyer who held a report, maintained a walkway, drove a vehicle, or controlled an event. Use the firm profiles below to find contacts, then ask about the particular setting and the individual lawyer who would handle it.
Imagine a hypothetical injury while transferring to the Metromover. Miami-Dade County says the system serves downtown, Omni, and Brickell. Record the station, platform, car, time, direction, photographs, witnesses, trip context, and report recipient. A station, adjacent sidewalk, and nearby business may have different records. Ask a firm how it would identify the correct operator or property controller and request time-sensitive footage.
Consider a separate hypothetical in Bayfront Park. The City of Miami lists the park at 301 Biscayne Boulevard and identifies its management trust. That does not show who controlled a particular activity or caused a condition. Record the exact path or event area, weather, lighting, signs, witnesses, photographs, and whom you notified. A public-place incident can raise special claim-process questions that need early legal review.
An airport-linked trip needs still more precision. Miami International Airport lists multiple ground-transportation modes. Keep a ride-app receipt or taxi details, pickup door or curb, roadway location, photographs, and any report number. Do not label a collision an airport claim merely because MIA was the journey’s endpoint.
Write a short timeline before a call: date, exact place, what happened, care received, and which facts remain uncertain. A lawyer can then explain what else is needed. A directory profile cannot verify licensure, acceptance of new matters, or likely recovery.

For a car, motorcycle, bicycle, pedestrian, commercial truck, taxi, or ride-app collision, keep the precise street or pickup location, vehicle and insurance details, direction of travel, photos, witnesses, report number, and trip receipt. A delivery or commercial vehicle may require employer, dispatch, and maintenance records. Ask whether a firm handles that type of collision and how soon it would seek records held by the operator.
A train car, station, curb, city park, and privately operated event area are different settings. Identify the exact spot and report recipient before assuming which government or business is involved. Preserve any ticket or trip information, photographs, weather, signs, and witness contacts. A public connection can make Florida’s written claim rules relevant, but injury in a public place alone does not establish government liability.
Florida Statutes § 767.04 addresses a dog owner’s liability for a bite in public or while a person is lawfully on private property, subject to the statute’s qualifications. Keep the owner and handler details, location, witnesses, photographs, clothing, medical records, and animal-control report. A non-bite incident or dispute over lawful presence needs separate analysis.
For a Miami school activity, identify the campus, public or private operator, outside program if any, supervising staff, and location. Save incident and nurse reports, schedules, messages, and care records. For a store, hotel, restaurant, gym, or worksite, keep a receipt or appointment, scene photographs, any warning, names of contractors or employers, and the person who took the report. Ask a lawyer which facts bear on control and notice.
Florida Statutes § 95.11(5)(a) places an action founded on negligence in a two-year category. Other claims may have different time periods and accrual rules. Under § 768.28(6), a claim involving the state or one of its agencies or subdivisions may require written presentment to specified recipients before suit. Do not use a general filing period as a substitute for reviewing a public-agency claim. Ask a Florida lawyer to identify the correct parties, claim type, and dates.
Section 768.81 allocates fault in covered negligence actions and contains a greater-than-50-percent bar, with a stated medical-negligence exception. A police report, business report, or insurer’s first statement is not a final allocation. Preserve the underlying evidence and ask how the firm would assess disputed accounts.

Our mission is to make public information about personal injury law firms easier to find, understand, and verify. We organize factual directory records, practical legal education, and links to official sources so people can begin their research with greater clarity.
Our philosophy is accuracy before promotion, clarity before complexity, and corrections whenever reliable evidence shows that a listing has changed. Directory inclusion is informational and is never presented as a legal recommendation.

Ask whether the firm currently accepts your incident type, who would supervise the matter, and who gathers records from a transit agency, school, airport, business, or insurer. Ask about relevant experience without treating past outcomes as promises. Check the named lawyer in The Florida Bar directory. Request written fee and expense terms and a clear main contact.
Note the station, platform or car, time, direction, report recipient, photographs, witnesses, and any related trip record. The name of the system alone is not a complete location.
No. Record the exact location and activity, then have a lawyer identify who controlled it and what legal duties may apply.
No. The vehicle, driver, operator, pickup point, and precise location need investigation. Keep the app or taxi record.
Seek care and retain owner details, witnesses, photos, and any report. Section 767.04 has terms about location, lawful presence, fault, and signs.
Keep campus and medical records, supervision details, activity schedules, messages, and the identity of any outside program.
No. Claim type and public-agency presentment may change the steps and dates. Ask a lawyer to calendar each applicable requirement.
Possibly. Confirm Florida license status, service area, experience, and a plan for local evidence and proceedings.
Compare percentages, case expenses, timing of deductions, and what is owed if there is no recovery, all in writing.
